Gen Set Distributors feel they should get to have all the work in their given territories.
Distribution used have dealers who went to market. Now the distributors try to bypass that.
That has created difficulty finding parts priced right. I have started by offering CAT/Olympian, FG Wilson, Perkins, Katolight, MTU, DDC parts. I have added Generac at a competitive price point. I also have after-market availability. I have helped some customers with hard to get obsolete Onan parts. I strive to offer the industry pricing on all parts that would allow the old adage of not exceeding list or MSRP to the customer.
Now the distributors work on all brands. That really makes it tough for them to find good pricing from their competition. That is why there is a need for an independent parts house to provide parts at a competitive price. EZ Power can that!
