Reduction in Posted Rental Rates!!!!

Rental Generator sets are basically the same or close in rates. It is based on price, depreciation, and paying them back. The overhead & profit is basically the difference in rates. EZ power has low overhead and is priced competatively. However, it has been difficult to keep them rented. The theory is to be at 80% utilization to have units available to the customer base. If I can reach 80% utilization, I'd invest in more machines. In order to do that I have made a business decision to reduce my posted labor rates by 20% for retail rentals. If I have to, I will discount more in order to get them rented. Please look at my present posted labor rates below:

This is unheard of. Most rentals don't even post their rates, then they make as much as they can. My motivation is to rent them. If these rates are high, I will do what I have to in order to gain your business. If you need wire, transportation, tie-in or disconnect, fueling, etc. I will pass this cost on.

Storm Season is upon us !

Every day thru the summer it rains ! Lightning is most common cause of a loss of utility.

Florida is the capital of llightning storms. Rental Generators provide a sense a security, along with the preperation it takes to depend on the power we have grown accustomed to. Some applications aren't even prepared to have portable power installed. Once the electricity is gone, it is late to make an emergency management plan. Is your building equiped to have a rental generator tied in ? There needs be some source to be able to choose whether the gen or electric company is providing the power. Otherwise you have to remove the utility companies feed in order to install the generator leads. In the case of a loss of utility with the rental tied in, there is only a loss of utlility for under 10 seconds. The cost of the loss of business may far outweigh a rental generator. Plus it provides a sense of security.

And if it tied in, there is concern of not finding one in an emergency, how long it takes to get it there and tying it in. Gas Stations, Healthcare, Hospitality, Infrasructure, Computers, Commercial & industrial locations are all dependent upon electricity.
